by Regional Police say officers foiled a robbery in progress at a drugstore in Sydney, yesterday afternoon.
They add they got the call to the Shoppers Drug Mart on Kings Road at 2:40.
They go on to say a male suspect had his face partly covered and handed the pharmacy clerk a note demanding drugs and saying he was armed.
When officers arrived on the scene, police say they moved customers from the rear of the store and arrested the man without incident.
Police say their investigation continues.
