Regional Municipality Posts Surplus

The Regional Municipality’s audit committee learned revenues were up in the last year fiscal year and expenses were down during a meeting this morning.

Chief Financial Officer Jennifer Campbell went over the numbers with committee members.

She says, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the net surplus for 2020-21 was $3.9 million.

The net debt was down by $2.5 million.
