The provincial Health Authority says there’s going to be another hot water shutdown at the Regional Hospital in Sydney tonight.
As with last week’s shutdown, the Health Authority says the move is needed to complete required maintenance work.
The shutdown will last from 8:00 tonight to 8:00 tomorrow morning and a hot water boil advisory will be in place from after the shutdown to 10:00 Sunday morning.
Access to the hospital is not affected but people are asked not to turn on hot water taps during the shutdown and hot water can’t be consumed during the boil advisory.
People at the hospital are also asked to use alcohol-based hand sanitizer after washing their hands.
