Representatives of Nova Scotia appeared before Regional Council today after councillors asked to hear from the utility about the reliability of the grid in the municipality.
The company says it’s ramping up its efforts to strengthen the grid in the CBRM.
It says it’s increased its tree trimming budget and is working to upgrade transmission equipment.
The company’s senior director of energy delivery, Matt Drover, says the company is also looking for new workers across the province as part of its effort to improve its preparation for bad weather.
