by A Cape Breton Regional Councillor has been nominated as a Progressive Conservative candidate in the upcoming provincial election.
Recently re-elected District 11 Councillor Darren O’Quinn is running in the constituency of Cape Breton Centre-Whitney Pier.
O’Quinn has also worked as a local barber for 14 years, a direct care worker with the Cape Breton Residential Society for 19 years and a reporter with the Community Press for 28 years.
The constituency is currently represented by NDP MLA Kendra Coombes.
