The Coast has learned Regional Councillor Darryl Flynn has been hospitalized.
Mayor Cecil Clarke says Flynn, who’s a cancer survivor, suffered from pneumonia over the holidays and is being treated for lung problems.
Clarke says he’s staying in touch with Flynn’s family for updates on his condition.
This comes after two other regional councillors recently confronted serious health problems.
Northside area Councillor Charlie Keagan died late last year after suffering a heart attack.
Councillor Claire Detheridge is on leave as she recovers from a brain bleed.
