Regional Councillor Concerned About Litter Bugs

A Cape Breton Regional councillor says there’s a serious problem with litter in his district.

Darren Bruckschwaiger represents Dominion and parts of Glace Bay.

Bruckschwaiger says he’s organizing community cleanups because the garbage problem is out of control.

He adds he hopes to have the cleanup organized for May 10, but the details are still being worked out.

He says he’s heard some people have already become involved and some have started cleaning up Dominion beach.
