Regional CAO Merritt Resigning

The Regional Municipality’s Chief Administrative Officer Michael Merritt, is resigning after almost three years on the job.

The CBRM says Merritt is leaving the post to return to his family in Alberta.

He’ll stay on as CAO until June 30^th.

Between now and then, Mayor and Council will begin the process of hiring a new Chief Administrative Officer.
