The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling a brand of kale salad kit sold in this province because of possible Salmonella contamination.
The CFIA says Taylor Farms Sweet Kale Chopped Kits in 340 gram sizes are affected.
The kits have a best before date of December 6th and were also sold in Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Ontario and Quebec.
People who have the kits should throw them out or bring them back to the store.
The agency says the recall was triggered by its test results and there have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of the product.
