by RCMP say one of their cruisers was rear-ended during a traffic stop on the 125 Sydney Bypass yesterday.
They say a Dodge Ram was pulled over in Coxheath yesterday morning, when a Toyota Corolla hit the cruiser and caused it to hit the Dodge.
The cruiser and the Corolla were extensively damaged.
Police say the officer and the North Sydney man driving the Corolla were both brought to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the Sydney Mines man driving the Dodge was not hurt.
An investigation is ongoing.
