RCMP Looking For Man Who Approached Boy In Port Hawkesbury

RCMP are investigating after a man tried to confine and assault a 9 year-old boy at a business in Port Hawkesbury yesterday evening.

They say it happened at around 5:15, when the man tried to force the boy into a bathroom stall and pull his pants down.

The boy was able to get away but employees weren’t able to stop the man from leaving before police arrived.

The man is described as white, in his 40s or 50s and about 5’8″ with dark hair.

At the time, he was wearing a blue hat, a red shirt, beige shorts and sunglasses.

Anyone who can identify the man is being asked to call RCMP.
