RCMP Following New Lead In Matheson Case

RCMP have given an update on their investigation into a missing Cape Breton man.

Kenley Matheson from Glendale was a 20-year-old student at Acadia University when he was last seen walking on Main Street in Wolfville in September of 1992.

The Mounties say a team began searching a site on Melanson Mountain near Wolfville yesterday that was identified by a cadaver dog.

They say the search is continuing today and is expected to conclude tomorrow.

Police say further details about findings and next steps will be shared once the site processing has been completed.
