RCMP End New Brunswick Border Blockade

The RCMP ended the blockade near the Nova Scotia-New Brunswick border last night and arrested three people.

Officers lined up on the road to create a barrier between protesters and the highway.

Most followed police orders to move to the side of the road.

The provincial Department of Transportation said traffic was flowing again in both directions at the border last night.

The blockade began on Tuesday night over Nova Scotia’s continued COVID-19 restrictions on travellers coming from New Brunswick.
