Rankin, Liberal Caucus To Tour CB

Provincial Liberal leader Iain Rankin will be meeting with Mayor Amanda McDougall and Deputy Mayor Earlene MacMullin for a luncheon at City Hall in Sydney tomorrow.

The meeting is part of a tour of Cape Breton by Rankin and the entire Nova Scotia Liberal caucus in the next couple of days.

Rankin and Health Critic Zach Churchill will also be in New Waterford tomorrow to tour a new healthcare centre that’s part of the province’s healthcare redevelopment project in the Regional Municipality.

The Liberals are using the occasion to call on the new Tory government to create more nursing seats.

Rankin and Churchill are expected to speak to reporters in New Waterford at 10:30 tomorrow morning.
