Queen Sends Nova Scotians Condolences

The Queen has posted a message of support and condolence to the people of Nova Scotia after the weekend killing rampage that’s left at least 19 people dead.

She says she and Prince Philip are deeply saddened by the events.

The monarch pays tribute to RCMP officers in the message and thanks health care workers.

She finishes by saying her thoughts and prayers are with the people of Nova Scotia and all Canadians at this tragic time.
