Quebec Man Facing Drug Charges After Big Pond Traffic Stop

A 61-year-old man from Huntington, Quebec is facing drug charges after police stopped a vehicle on Highway 4 in Big Pond at noon, yesterday.

 

Police say they seized a quantity of marihuana, hashish & cash.

 

The man faces charges of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Marihuana & Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Hashish.

 

He’s been remanded to the Cape Breton Correctional Centre to await a court appearance, tomorrow.
