Public Health Warns Of Vaccination Scam

Public Health is warning about a telephone scam related to the in-home COVID-19 vaccination program.

It says the caller falsely claims to be with Nova Scotia Health’s continuing care program and asks for financial information.

Public Health says it doesn’t ask for banking, financial or other sensitive information when calling to book an in-home vaccination appointment.

If people who’ve registered for the program get that kind of call, they’re being asked to hang up and call 1-800-225-7225.
