On Day 19 of the provincial election, NDP Leader Gary Burrill is promising to immediately add seven doctors’ assistants in areas of most need at a cost of $700,000 in the first year.
PC Leader Tim Houston is pledging to increase Tourism Nova Scotia’s marketing budget by $2 million.
Meanwhile, Liberal leader Iain Rankin released his party’s fully-costed election platform in Dartmouth this afternoon.
Rankin says the platform promises will cost a total of $451.7 million over four years.
All three major party leaders took part in a debate sponsored by the Halifax Chamber of Commerce this morning.
