Province Sending Postcards To Coastal Property Owners

The province says it’s mailing postcards to people who own coastal property.

The postcards invite them to provide their input on how to adapt development along the coastline to respond to climate change.

Environment and Climate Change Minister Tim Halman says the consultation delivers on the government’s commitment to reach out directly to coastal property owners on the matter.

He says people can provide feedback through a link on the provincial government website, by e-mailing coastalconsultation@novascotia.ca or by mailing the provincial Department of Environment and Climate Change.

The deadline for submissions is November 7th.
