Province Reports Two More COVID-19 Deaths, Two New Cases

The province is reporting two more COVID-19 deaths today along with two new cases of the virus.

Health officials say a man in his 60s in the Central Zone and a man in his 50s in the Western Zone have died.

A total of 92 people in the province have now died because of COVID-19.

Of the new cases reported today, none are in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton.

One is in the Central Zone and the other is in the Western Zone.

Five recoveries are being reported today and there’s now a total of 74 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.

Those include 14 cases in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network and one in the Inverness, Victoria and Richmond Community Health Network.

Two people in the province are in hospital with the virus.

Neither person is in intensive care.
