Province Reports One New COVID Case

The province is reporting one new case of COVID-19 today.

The case is in the Central Zone and is under investigation.

With two recoveries reported today, the province’s total number of known active cases is now nine.

None of those cases are in Cape Breton.

One person in the province is being treated in hospital with COVID-19 and is in intensive care.

76% of the province’s population has had at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

62.5% have had both doses.
