Province Introduces New Travel Restrictions, Reports One New COVID Case

Premier Stephen McNeil has announced a 14-day quarantine requirement for anyone coming to the province from Newfoundland and Labrador.

This comes as Newfoundland and Labrador reports 30 new cases of COVID-19 today.

There are now 57 confirmed active cases of the virus in that province.

Meanwhile, this province is reporting one new case of the virus today.

The new case is in the Central Zone and is related to travel outside Atlantic Canada.

Health officials say the person is self-isolating as required.

There’s now a total of nine confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.

One person in the province is in hospital with the virus and is in intensive care.
