Province Reports One New COVID Case

The province is reporting one new case of COVID-19 today.

The case is in the Central Zone and is related to travel outside Atlantic Canada.

There’s now a total of 10 confirmed active cases of the virus in Nova Scotia.

As of yesterday, 15,165 doses of COVID-19 vaccine had been given in the province.

Of those, 2,954 people got their second dose.

Premier Stephen McNeil and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang will be giving another COVID-19 briefing at 3:00 tomorrow afternoon.
