Province Reports COVID Death, 32 New Cases

The province is reporting another COVID-19 death and 32 new cases of the virus today.

Health officials say the person who died was a man in his 70’s in the Northern Zone.  

Two of the cases reported today are in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton.

There are 27 new cases in the Central Zone and three in the Northern Zone.

The province is also reporting 28 more recoveries today.

There’s now a total of 205 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in the province, including seven in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network.

13 people in the province are now in hospital with the virus, including one person in intensive care.
