Province Reports COVID Death, 22 Cases

The province is reporting another COVID-19 death today along with 22 more cases of the virus.

Health officials say the person who died was a man in his 70’s in the Central Zone.

16 of the new cases reported today are in the Central Zone, and there are five new cases in the Northern Zone and one in the Western Zone.

The province is also reporting 24 more recoveries today.

There’s now a total of 169 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, including one case in the Regional Municipality.

17 people in the province are currently in hospital with the virus, including five people in intensive care.
