Province Reports COVID-19 Death, 57 New Cases

The province is reporting another COVID-19 death and 57 new cases of the virus since the last report on Friday.

Health officials say a man in his 70’s in the Western Zone has died.

There’s one new case in the Eastern Zone, that includes Cape Breton, along with 29 new cases in the Central Zone, 17 in the Northern Zone and 10 in the Western Zone.

The province is also reporting 63 new recoveries.

There’s now a total of 152 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in the province, including two in the Regional Municipality.

There are now 11 people in the province in hospital with the virus, including two in intensive care.
