Province Reports Another COVID-19 Death, 25 New Cases

The province is reporting another COVID-19 death today, along with 25 new cases.

Eight of those cases are in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton, while 15 are in the Central Zone and two are in the Northern Zone.

The person who died was a man in his 30’s in the Central Zone.

He’s the youngest person in the province to have died of COVID-related causes during the pandemic.

There are now 22 people in the province in hospital with the virus, including nine in intensive care.

There’s now a total of 273 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, including 65 in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network and one in the Inverness, Victoria and Richmond Community Health Network.
