The province is reporting 96 new cases of COVID-19 today along with a higher number of hospitalizations.
There are now 11 people in the province in hospital with COVID-19, including three in intensive care.
Today’s case count breaks yesterday’s pandemic daily record of 66.
90 of the new cases are in the Central Zone.
Three are in the Eastern Zone, that includes Cape Breton, two are in the Western Zone and there’s one new case in the Northern Zone.
There’s now a total of over 400 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, including 34 in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network and one in the Inverness, Victoria and Richmond Community Health Network.
