Province Reports 745 New COVID Cases, Outbreak At Inverness Consolidated

The province is reporting 745 new cases of COVID-19 today, as well as an outbreak at Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital.

Health officials say fewer than five patients at the hospital have tested positive and all patients are being closely monitored and other infection prevention and control measures are being put in place.

48 people in the province are now in hospital with COVID-19, including nine in intensive care.

Of the new cases reported today, 459 are in the Central Zone, with 128 in the Eastern Zone, 95 in the Western Zone and 63 in the Northern Zone.
