The province is reporting 25 new cases of COVID-19 today.
19 of those cases are in the Central Zone and one is a staff member at a long-term care home.
The province says most residents at Ocean View Continuing Care Centre in Eastern Passage are being isolated and cared for in their rooms.
The majority of the new cases in the Central Zone are related to travel or close contact but six are under investigation.
There are three new cases in the Eastern Zone and all are related to travel outside Atlantic Canada.
There are three new cases in the Northern Zone with two cases under investigation and one related to travel outside the country.
There’s now a total of 79 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, including 17 in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network.
Premier Iain Rankin and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang are scheduled to give another COVID-19 update at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon.
