Province Reports 19 New COVID Cases

The province is reporting 19 new cases of COVID-19 today.

Two of the new cases are in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton.

Health officials say one case is under investigation and the other is a close contact of an earlier reported case.

14 of the new cases are in the Central Zone, with two in the Northern Zone and one in the Western Zone.

With 29 new recoveries, there’s now a total of 127 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in the province, including six in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network.

10 people in the province are now in hospital with the virus, though none of those people are in intensive care.
