Province Reporting Two COVID Deaths, 59 New Cases

The province is reporting two more COVID-19 deaths as well as 59 new cases of the virus since the last report on Friday.

One of those who died was a man in his 60’s at a long-term care home in Pugwash, where an outbreak has been declared.

The other person was a man in his 70’s in the Western Zone who was not in a long-term care home.

Of the new cases reported today, 38 are in the Northern Zone and 21 are in the Central Zone.

The province is also reporting 58 more recoveries, bringing its total amount of confirmed active cases to 171.

None of those cases are in the Regional Municipality.

13 people in the province are now in hospital with the virus, including four people in intensive care.
