Province Reporting 12 New COVID-19 Cases

Health officials are reporting 12 new cases of COVID-19 in the province.

For the fifth day in a row there are no new cases being reported in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton.

There are now 50 cases in the zone and a total of 947 across the province.

There were no new deaths reported today.

28 people in the province have died from the virus.

As of yesterday, there were 10 licensed long-term care homes and unlicensed seniors’ facilities in the province with cases of COVID-19, affecting a total of 235 residents and 104 staff.
