Province Releases Legal Pot Regulations

The province has released its initial regulations for the sale and use of recreational marijuana.

The legal age for buying and using recreational pot in Nova Scotia will be 19.

Cannabis will be sold at existing Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation stores.

However, the number of locations has not yet been determined.

People in Nova Scotia will also be able to buy legalized pot online.

Today’s announcement comes as Ottawa intends to legalize the recreational use of cannabis on July 1st.
