Province Releases Fifth Update On Vaccine Mandate

The province says there are now 960 workers on unpaid leave in key sectors affected by the government’s vaccine mandate.  

It says that works out to 1.3% of people in those sectors that include frontline workers in healthcare, continuing care and education.

Of all the workers reporting in those sectors, 97% are fully vaccinated.

99.2% have at least one dose.

The province says there are also 93 civil servants on unpaid leave.

Among civil servants reporting, 97.2 percent are fully vaccinated and 99.1 percent have at least one dose.
