Province Relaxes Social Gathering Rules

The province is further relaxing limits on social gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Up to 10 people are now allowed to gather without having to keep six feet apart.

Any groups larger than 10 will have to follow physical distancing and those groups are now limited to 50 people.

The province says people are not required to have exclusive groups but they are being encouraged to keep a consistent group.

The changes come as the province reports no new cases of COVID-19 today for the ninth day in a row.

The COVID-19 State of Emergency in the province is still in effect until at least June 28th.
