The Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union says a strike vote has been suspended after a tentative agreement reached between the province and health care workers.
The NSGEU, Unifor and CUPE represent about 75 hundred employees who were preparing to go on strike this week.
The NSGEU says the tentative deal was reached yesterday afternoon after five days of conciliation.
It says details of the deal will not be made public until members have a chance to review it and vote on it.
