Province Creates Acadian Advisory Committee

Provincial Acadian Affairs Minister Lena Diab announced the creation of an Advisory Committee, today.

Diab says the committee will provide her with advice and information on matters that are important to Nova Scotia’s Acadian and Francophone community.

There are two Cape Breton representatives on the committee.

They are Clermont Charland who’s president of the Etoile de l’Acadie Community Centre in Sydney and Inverness County deputy warden Alfred Poirier.
