Province Announces Public Transit Funding

The province has announced $4.7 million in funding for public transit.

The Regional Municipality is getting $425,000 under the province’s Public Transit Assistance Program.

Funding is also being given through the Community Transportation Assistance Program to a number of groups across the province, including Victoria County Transit, Strait Area Transit and the Transit Cooperative in Cheticamp.
