Province Announces One New COVID Case

The province is reporting one new case of COVID-19 today.

The new case is in the Western Zone and is still under investigation.

A second case in the Central Zone was reported late yesterday but is being counted today because it was found after yesterday’s cut-off for reporting.

That case is connected to Beaver Bank-Monarch Drive Elementary School in the Halifax area.

There’s now a total of 13 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.

Premier Stephen McNeil and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang are scheduled to give another COVID-19 update at 1:00 tomorrow afternoon.
