Province Announces New Funding For Cosmetology Sector

The Province is providing a one-time grant to some businesses and practitioners in the cosmetology sector affected by COVID-19 restrictions.

The government says the $2,500 grant will help people in the sector affected by the tightened mask requirements announced in December.

Applications for the grant will open on February 25th.

Today’s announcement comes after The Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia said last month the beauty industry didn’t qualify for the Sector Impact Support Program announced at the time.
