Probable Case Of COVID-19 At Oceanview Education Centre In Glace Bay

The province is reporting a probable case of COVID-19 at Oceanview Education Centre in Glace Bay.

Public health is recommending that all students and staff at the school be tested for COVID-19, even if they don’t have symptoms.

More testing is needed to confirm if it’s a confirmed case and officials will be in touch with anyone who’s affected to explain what they should do.

The probable case is not included in today’s official count of 4 new cases of the virus and nine recoveries.

Three of the new cases are in the Central Zone, one is in the Northern Zone.

All of them are related to travel.

There are currently 12 active cases of the virus in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network and one in the Inverness, Victoria and Richmond Community Health Network.
