Princess Cruises Suspends Operations Over Coronavirus

Princess Cruises has suspended its worldwide operations for two months because of the coronavirus.

The move affects all 18 ships and is effective immediately.

A number of Princess cruise ships are scheduled to visit the Port of Sydney during the upcoming season.

However, the first Princess ship isn’t due to arrive until August.

Meanwhile, the CEO of the Port of Sydney Development Corporation says she expects the coronavirus pandemic will affect the upcoming cruise ship season.
Marlene Usher says the ships may come with fewer people and there could also be fewer ships.
