Primary Care Coming To More Pharmacies

The provincial Health Department says primary care will be available in more pharmacies starting next week, including in Glace Bay.

It says the Community Pharmacy Primary Care Clinic program will expand from 12 to 26 locations by the end of next month.

Nine new locations will open across the province on Monday, including at the Shoppers Drug Mart on Commercial Street in Glace Bay.

The province says five other new clinics will open by the end of May—all on the mainland.

The first 12 pharmacy primary care clinics launched in February, including at locations in Sydney and North Sydney.
