As predicted, the price of gas went up, overnight.
Gas increased by 5.3 cents a litre and now goes for a minimum of $1.78.3 in Cape Breton.
Diesel went up by 1.6 cents.
The minimum price for a litre of diesel on the Island is now $2.28.2.
