Premier Iain Rankin announced the funding this morning in Sydney Mines.
The renovation project includes adding infield turf, accessible dugout ramps and fencing upgrades.
It will also fix some problems with the field’s grass and dirt infield that present obstacles for players in wheelchairs or with other mobility challenges.
