Police to Discuss Charges After Glace Bay Man Dies

Cape Breton Regional Police say they’ll be meeting with Crown Prosecutors today to decide if there’s enough evidence to press any charges after a Glace Bay man died in Halifax hospital over the weekend.

The 26-year-old, whose name has not been released, was allegedly hit by the vehicle his girlfriend was driving following a domestic dispute on March 30th.

Police say they responded to Leslie Lane in Glace Bay shortly after 9:00 in the morning.

They say the 26-year-old woman who was driving the vehicle fled the scene.

The vehicle was later located and the woman was arrested and subsequently released from custody without being charged.
