Police Say Victim of Lingan Road Fire Believed To Be A Woman

Regional Police say the body found after Monday’s early morning fire at 911 Lingan Road is believed to be that of a woman.   However, they add it will take some time to confirm the identity because of the condition of the body.   Police say the fire was suspicious and their investigation is continuing but aren’t offering more details at this time.   Neighbours say a couple in their 40’s was renting the bungalow and had moved in last year.   Some note that the grey car driven by the man living in the house was not parked outside the house on Monday morning.
