Police Looking For Tips In John David Sheppard Murder Case

Regional Police say they continue to investigate the murder of 51-year-old John David Sheppard from Glace Bay.

They say investigators believe there are people with information they haven’t yet shared with police, that could help confirm who’s responsible.

Police say they got called to a home on Brookland Street on the night of January 18, 2021 to a report someone had entered the home, assaulted Sheppard and ran away.

Police say Sheppard was airlifted to Halifax hospital where he died from his injuries.

They’re asking anyone with information about the case to call the Regional Police general number or contact Crime Stoppers.
