RCMP say a man has died after a crash on a section of the Trans-Canada near Boularderie East and investigators are looking for help from the public.
Police say they responded to a report about the crash shortly after 7:30 yesterday morning and learned a truck went off the highway and into a deep ditch in the area of Patterson Road.
The 48-year-old Boularderie man who was driving the truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say there was no one else in the vehicle.
The truck is described as a red/burgundy Ford F-150 and investigators want to speak with anyone who was driving on the highway late Monday night or early yesterday morning and may have seen the vehicle.
Police say the truck is thought to have been going west and possibly started from Sydney on Monday.
Anyone with information is asked to call Victoria County RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
